Unlike Evidence-Based Medicine where we actively search to find answers, Spirit Guided Health is about creating stillness so the answers find us.

There are many ways of creating stillness. Reflect on what works for you. Is it meditation, walking in nature, exercise, cultivating a feeling of love, visualizing a peaceful place, becoming completely present, or something else?

To be fully open and present for what arises, as best you can, set aside any preconceived notions or skepticism to be available for fresh insight and growth. It can be helpful to ask for inner guidance to do this.

Many answers arise from below the relentless chatter streaming though our minds. We can easily get tangled up in thought streams, stories we tell ourselves, or powerful emotions that distract us. If we can learn to appreciate that we are not our thoughts and emotions, but that these are simply events that pass through our field of awareness, we may become less attached to them and more attuned to deeper lying intuition offering wise guidance.

Don’t approach your questions with expectations of how the answers should come. Just stay open and be aware of what arises. Be patient. Don’t give up on your questions. You may need to ask them repeatedly. The answers may arise instantaneously, or over hours, days or months. They may arise in your thoughts, or as a knowing, or perhaps what seems like a chance meeting, discussion, or something you stumble upon.

This Spirit Guided Health framework is not linear. If you are feeling stressed, you may find it helpful to first stop and take a few moments to focus on your breath, and cultivate a feeling of compassion to create stillness, before you seed your questions and then reconnect with stillness to be available for what arises…
